The trip starts with a brief but picturesque road trip from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. The hike begins after approximately an hour’s drive from Kathmandu at the gate of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. Before entering the peaceful forest territory, the permits are verified. The path starts with an unbroken ascent on stone steps, along the course of the Bagmati River. As you continue into the forest, you will find oaks and rhododendron trees of different colors.
