At Morning Star Treks, we want every traveler to feel confident, informed, and cared for. These Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure clarity between us and our valued guests. Please take a few minutes to go through them before booking your trip.
A booking is confirmed once we receive a deposit from you and send you a confirmation email. The remaining balance must be paid before the trip begins, unless we agree otherwise in writing. By confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods. Any bank or transfer fees must be covered by the traveler. Prices mentioned on our website or brochures are in USD (unless stated otherwise).
Plans can change, and so we keep our cancellation policy simple:
If we cancel the trip for an unavoidable reason—such as political unrest, a natural disaster, or any safety issue— you’ll receive a full refund or the option to move your booking to another date.
Most itineraries expect a reasonable level of fitness, so please assess your health and be open about any relevant conditions when you book. If you have any doubt, see a doctor before the trip, especially for high-altitude treks. Morning Star Treks accepts no responsibility for health problems that arise from a lack of preparation.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all high-altitude treks. Your policy must specifically cover emergency helicopter evacuation, medical expenses, accidents, and trip cancellations. We may ask you to show proof of insurance before the trek starts.
Adventure travel is inherently risky, so it is important for you to understand the hazards involved. Weather extremes, landslides, altitude issues, and other unforeseen situations may cause changes in the trip. Morning Star Treks places your safety first and will redirect, shorten, or lengthen treks when judged necessary.
By completing your booking, you confirm that you accept the hazards and agree that Morning Star Treks will accept no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage arising from situations beyond our control.
The schedules published on our website or in flyers represent planned itineraries, not firm commitments. Routes can be modified for safety if weather, road damage, or other emergent conditions arise.
Trek leaders, local authorities, or emergency services will have the exclusive authority to confirm such changes, and clients will be informed promptly to maximize safety and comfort.
Responsibility for personal property rests solely with each traveler. Morning Star Treks will not accept responsibility for any article that is lost, stolen, or damaged during the program.
Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover personal items. Carry valuables, electronics, and passports in a personal day pack that can be locked, and always keep that bag in your sight.
Travel should be conducted in a considerate and ethical manner. Clients are reminded to understand and follow local codes, including dress standards, greeting protocols, and photography consent.
Each guest is further asked to minimize ecological impact: avoid plastic, respect natural habitats, keep a safe distance from wildlife, and pack out all trash. Morning Star Treks believes that together we can travel with a legacy worth leaving behind.
Should anything go wrong during your journey, let your guide or our head office know at once—fixing it fast is our job. We take your observations to heart and put them to work. You’ll shortly get our feedback link, or we might request a quick story from you.
This agreement is held together by the laws of Nepal. Any disagreements will take the same path and be settled here.
Booking a trek with Morning Star Treks means you agree to these ground rules.
These conditions aren’t barriers; they’re guideposts meant to keep your adventure safe, joyful, and unforgettable. We trust you’ll read them and help turn any bump into a smooth road, making sure your trek is light on stress and heavy on good memories.
