Upon arriving at Kathmandu Airport, you will be received and greeted by our company representative. Our team will escort you to the reserved hotel. After check-in, you will get some time to relax and rest. Later, you may stroll around the Thamel and Asan market, where you can see the colourful shops, cafés and restaurants.
We also have a short briefing and orientation by our guide for the Kathmandu Valley Cultural Heritage tour, covering all the details, itinerary and highlights.
In the late evening, we will arrange a welcome dinner for the trip members. We will serve wholesome, nutritious and yummy foods. It includes: Dal (lentils), Bhat (Steamed Rice), Tarkari (Seasonal vegetables), Spinach, Mutton/Chicken/Fish curry, King Curd, Salad, Pickle, Gundruk and Dessert items.

After a hearty breakfast at hotel, our Kathmandu Valley Cultural Heritage Tour begins. We will head to the Pashupatinath Temple – it is the holiest sacred temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River. Here you will see the priests performing daily rituals, and offering prayers to the almighty god & goddess. It is also famous for its pagoda-style architectural designs, which attract thousands of visitors from all around the world.
Next, we will head to Swayambhunath Temple. This site is adorable, featuring prayer wheels, shrines, and all-seeing eyes of Buddha. From the top of this site, you will have the majestic views of Kathmandu City.
Following this spiritual journey, we will head to Boudhanath Stupa – one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world. It is known for its massive mandala shape, painted Buddha eyes and towering spire. The Stupa is encircled by unique cafés and restaurants. Here you can find foods like Mo: Mo (dumplings), Tibetan snacks, butter tea, Newari Khaja/Khana set and more.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to Patan Durbar Square. Here you can explore the Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, Bhimsen Temple, Ashok Pillar, Patan Museum, Big Bell and more.
In the early evening, the tour takes you to Kathmandu Durbar Square – a historic royal palace. It is a promising place for celebrating festivals and cultural events, which showcase Nepalese traditions. The Kumari Ghar, Hanuman Dhoka, Kal Bhairav Statue and Taleju temple are the major attractions of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

After breakfast at the hotel, our heritage tour begins with a drive to Bhaktapur earlier called Bhadgaun. It is also known as the “City of Devotees”, popular for its ancient places, courtyards, and rich culture.
Our first stop will be Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It is also a UNESCO site, located away from the hustle and bustle of chaotic Kathmandu city. Here you will explore several historic landmarks such as 55 -window Palace – famous for its carved wooden window, Vatsala & Nyatpola Temple – iconic temples reflect the architectural structures in a shikhara-style, statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, National Art Gallery and more.
After exploring Bhaktapur Durbar Square, we will enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant in Bhaktapur. You have a wide variety of meal options, including Bara, Chatmari, Juju Dhau, Nepali cuisines, and other Indian and International cuisines.
In the afternoon, our tour continues to explore and receive blessings from Changu Narayan Temple. It is the oldest Hindu Temple of Nepal, and is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites. This sacred site is adorable for its stone carvings, woodwork and architectural designs.
The day concludes with the return to Kathmandu. In the evening, you may go shopping in Thamel and buy gifts and souvenirs for your family. If you are not tired enough, the nightlife of Kathmandu offers visual glimpses of dance, music and drinks, especially in areas like Durbar Marg, Thamel and Jhamsikhel.

The Cultural tour starts after arriving in Kathmandu (the city of temples). On the first day of our trip, we will have a short orientation by our guide, followed by a delicious dinner at our exotic hotel.
On the second day of the tour, we will have a hearty breakfast, and our guide will arrive at the lobby of the hotel. Then we will drive to Pashupatinath Temple – the holiest temple of Hindu Shiva. Upon that, we will head to Swayambhunath Mandir and get the panoramic views of Kathmandu from the top of the site. Thereafter, we will explore the Boudhanath Stupa. Similarly, in the late afternoon and evening, we will admire the elegance, architectural designs and beauty of Patan and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
In the evening, we will also get free time to explore Thamel, Asan and New Road market.
On day three, we will drive to Bhaktapur to explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changu Narayan (the oldest temple of Nepal). After visiting these places, we will see the well-preserved Newari architecture through its monuments and sites. During the journey, we will also enjoy the Newari delicacies like Mo: Mo, Thukpa, Bara, Chatmari, JuJu Dhau (King Curd) or other yummy dishes.
After sightseeing, you return to the hotel where you can relax and refresh with your favourite drink and appetising meal.
